Introduction

Good day!
Today, we will discuss a 6-layer hybrid PCB constructed with 20mil RO4350B and FR-4. This article will introduce two specific boards.

Board Overview

First Board: Satellite Receiver Application

The first board is designed for a satellite receiver. It features one RO4350B core on the top layer. The stack-up is somewhat complex due to the inclusion of three types of blind vias. This board has a thickness of 1.71 mm, with white silkscreen over a green solder mask on both sides. Immersion gold is applied to the pads and tracks. Each board is supplied as a single unit and is fabricated according to IPC 6012 Class 2 standards using provided Gerber data. A total of 25 boards are packed for shipment.

Second Board: Signal Booster Application

The second board is utilized in a signal booster and incorporates two cores of 20mil RO4350B on the top and bottom sides. The stack-up is displayed below.
